Residents of our region are some of the best recyclers in NSW, but plastic bags that can’t be recycled are contaminating household recycling bins.

To try and combat the problem and save valuable recyclables, SHOROC and its partner councils have a new campaign asking those residents that don’t recycle right to hang onto the bag and dispose of it responsibly. More…

SHOROC Announces Operational Plan for Year Ahead

SHOROC has released its Operational Plan for 2015/16, outlining major infrastructure and service priorities for the region and key initiatives to be delivered for the councils and communities of north east Sydney. Cr Peter Abelson SHOROC President and Mayor of Mosman says that the SHOROC 2015-16 Operational Plan includes projects that will build on the results in recent years for the region and councils.

NSW Election commitments from candidates for Manly, North Shore, Wakehurst, Pittwater and Davidson have been published here to give voters an overview of where their local candidates stand on key regional priorities.
