Pittwater Business Ltd, sponsored by Pittwater Council, will hold their next breakfast networking meeting on Wednesday, June 27 from 7.00am at Bayview Golf Club, 1825 Pittwater Road, Mona Vale.
The guest speaker is technology guru Brad Howarth, who will outline how the future of broadband is set to change society and small businesses. Brad will provide a glimpse into the future of broadband applications and services, along with a discussion of practical steps that business is taking today to capitalise on the many opportunities that arise when a society is wired for broadband.
Brad Howarth has been reporting on new technologies and their effect on the business community for almost two decades. He has held the positions of information technology editor and marketing editor for BRW magazine and is the author of Innovation and Emerging Markets, a study of the path to commercialisation for Australian technology start-ups. He is also co-author, with Janelle Ledwidge, of a new book entitled A Faster Future, a guide to the future of broadband applications and services.
A new report from the Australian Industry Group and Deloitte has highlighted the gap that exists between many Australian businesses’ awareness of the benefits of broadband and their readiness to take advantage of new broadband networks and technologies.
Don’t miss your chance to learn how to watch for changes affecting your business systems and be prepared to take advantage of the opportunities and technologies that will emerge.
