Mr Jonathan O’Dea, Member for Davidson, has shown strong committment to the Shaping Our Future strategy by putting on the public record several recommendations in support of the strategy in the Legislative Assembly on 12 November 2010.

“I congratulate the Shore Regional Organisation of Councils on its vision,” said Mr O’Dea, “they have a uniform voice in setting these important priorities for the future of the region. I place on record my strong support for the transport and health priorities identified in the document.”

“I also note the need for additional funding and action to further progress those priorities. In particular, the need for funding for feasibility studies around the bus rapid transit system proposals. In advance of the upcoming election, that would be welcomed by the current Government. If not, I hope that the incoming Liberal Government will make it a priority” he said.
