|Regional Sportsgrounds Analysis – Tregear Report 2006
25 October 2006
SHOROC commissioned Thompson Tregear Pty Ltd to undertake a regional sportsgrounds analysis in 2005. This was in response to the desire of the four member Councils to work more strategically in planning for the sustainable development and management of sportsgrounds within the region. The Final Report was presented to the SHOROC Executive at their meeting on 24 August 2006 and has been referred to member Councils for their information. The SHOROC Executive acknowledges the important role of the Manly Warringah Pittwater (MWP) Sporting Union within the region, particularly in relation to the sportsgrounds allocation process. The Sporting Union Executive was consulted in the development of the Report and the SHOROC Executive has also held informal discussions to consider the principles of the Tregear recommendations.
