Key SHOROC Staff

Our People – Delivering on Our Promises

As a local resident I know just how good our region in Sydney’s north east is – but I also know the big challenges we face. We need leadership, a united voice to improve our public transport and gridlocked roads, to ensure the Northern Beaches Hospital is built, to cope with a growing population and climate change, to help create more jobs close to home. Our role is to work in partnership with the elected councillors and great staff from our four partner councils to provide this leadership, to maintain and enhance our way of life and natural environment, to work for even stronger councils. If you too want these outcomes, get involved, subscribe to our website and support our projects and campaigns for a stronger region.

Delivering quality services when costs are increasing faster than income is a very real challenge for councils. At SHOROC we are working collaboratively in implementing an efficiency and cost saving strategy that will see us work smarter, get the most out of our resources and deliver best value to our region while maintaining the independence of our partner councils.

Andrea Tattam Business Manager

Working at SHOROC is a great way to be at the forefront of the diverse areas of local government ranging from strategy on health and transport, to sustainability and innovation. With credentials in advertising and communications it’s my daily challenge to look after the office and the communications side of things and keep others in the ‘loop’. When I’m not working, you’ll find me on the water boating, swimming and enjoying this awesome region.
