Ben Taylor Executive Director
As Executive Director, Ben is responsible for managing SHOROC and working in partnership with the elected Councillors, General Managers and professional Officers from our four partner councils to deliver results for the region and councils. Prior to joining SHOROC, Ben was Director Metropolitan Water for the NSW Government where he was responsible among other things for the Metropolitan Water Plan for greater Sydney, and worked local government and the non-government sector running sustainability programs across Australia and supporting programs in India and East Timor. A proud local resident and keen surfer, Ben is passionate about the Northern Beaches particularly improving our public transport, roads and hospitals.

 

Andrea Tattam Business Manager MBA
As Business Manager, Andrea is focused on working collaboratively with our partner councils to deliver efficiencies and cost savings across the region. She is interested in finding strategies that will see us work smarter, get the most out of our resources and deliver best value to our region while maintaining the independence of our partner councils into the long term. Andrea has more than 10 years’ experience in local government and has previously worked at the City of Sydney and Shoalhaven City Council, bringing strong experience and insight across a wide range of the many council areas and functions to SHOROC.

 

 

Lisa Stevens Office and Communications Manager
As Office and Communications Manager, Lisa is responsible for working with the team and council stakeholders to develop regional communications campaigns such as the regional health and transport infrastructure strategy ‘Shaping Our Future’ and regional sustainability strategy ‘Shaping Our Sustainable Future’. After a 10+ year career in Advertising, Lisa brings to SHOROC innovation in editorial and communictions strategies in print and digital media. With credentials in communications and management it’s Lisa’s challenge to look after the office and the communications side of things and keep others in the ‘loop’ about SHOROC priorities.
