Internationally renowned design team, McGregor Coxall, has drawn up two initial options for turning Brookvale Oval and Park into a world-class sporting venue and urban village.
The designs are based on nearly a years’ worth of community consultation and outline how the park could be developed to provide the funds needed to upgrade and maintain the aging facility.
“These designs have it all”, said Warringah Mayor, Michael Regan. “They keep the trees and parkland that locals love and, best of all, extend our much-loved hill around the oval.
Brookvale Master Plan Option B – Ground View“If this vision is accepted by the community it will give us the opportunity to provide a beautiful new park and facilities for the community as well as secure Brookvale as the home of rugby league and professional sport on the northern beaches”, said Mayor Regan.
Adrian McGregor, project director and principal of McGregor Coxall added; “It is exciting to think how we could lead the world in demonstrating how a professional sporting venue can also become a place for the community to work and play.”

Following feedback from stakeholder and community groups on these options, a preferred Master Plan option will be drawn up and placed on exhibition for public comment.
