The Festival of Mosman features a vibrant, creative, and engaging program of events for all ages to enjoy. It aims to bring visitors and locals together to celebrate the best of Sydney and have an ‘unmissable’ experience.
Highlights include: a World Drumming Concert (NAFAS) at Balmoral; an Open Day with activities like Mosman’s Big Lunch, Middle Head artists studios open day, and a contemporary corroboree; plus organised walking tours, exhibitions, and musical concerts. Some past events will make their return, like: the Children’s Fair, Pet’s Day Out, Concert in the Park, and Hunter Valley Uncorked which will wrap up the Festival on Sunday 6 November.
It will feature a huge array of cultural and community events including open air concerts, art exhibitions, wine and food fair, exploration of historical sites, a world premiere musical and formal recreation activities. The Festival includes events that bring visitors and locals together to celebrate the best-of-the-best of Sydney – its stunning beaches, scenery and lookouts, its harbour lifestyle including fine dining and shopping, its vibrant arts experiences and its easy walking access to National Parks and other natural wonders.
Festival activities, exhibitions and events will take place at sites throughout Mosman. Highlights of this year’s Festival include a World Drumming Concert, Contemporary Corroboree, Open Air (a locative media project), a preview of the Balnaves Gift (a $1 million donation of Australian artworks), the musical Golden Summers, Hunter Valley Uncorked at Balmoral, the inaugural Mosman Open Day and the return of many much loved community events such as Pet’s Day Out, Concert in the Park, Mosman Superstar, Children’s Fair and much, much more.
