New Informative Website for Kimbriki

Kimbriki Resource Recovery Centre has a brand new website. The web address remains the same – www.kimbriki.com but with a fresh new look.

‘Everyone’s expectations about a website have changed in a short space of time’ said Aaron Hudson, CEO of Kimbriki. ‘We’d like everyone in the SHOROC region from Mosman all the way to Pittwater to be interested in the phenomenal recycling that we do here; so even if they haven’t brought their rubbish or recycling to Kimbriki they can check out our website see what we offer our customers and how what we do helps the environment.”

The new website has some great features – a location map linked into Google maps; an interactive aerial photo that leads to information about each facet of the centre with a click of the mouse; there is also an area on the site to check whether you are a resident of the SHOROC region.

The newly improved education facility at Kimbriki has its own website www.ecohouseandgarden.com.au which is also easily accessible from the main website. This site includes beautiful images of the new eco house, children and adults at workshops, plants and recycled materials in the eco garden. Information about workshops, events and excursions are all easy to find.

Booking online will soon be available for workshops and talks at the Kimbriki Eco House and Garden offering more activities in sustainability education.

The ‘Buy Recycled’ tab shows all the quality landscaping materials that are made on site at Kimbriki and are available for sale. The site also provides important information about which materials are accepted or prohibited at the centre.

Mr Hudson said ‘We’d like our customers to be informed before they visit; so we’ve provided some very comprehensive information that should only take a few clicks to find.’

Kimbriki Resource Recovery Centre is owned and operated by Kimbriki Environmental Enterprises Pty Ltd (KEE). KEE was incorporated on 1 July 2009 and has four shareholders – Manly, Mosman, Pittwater and Warringah Councils, which constitutes SHOROC the Shore Regional Organisation of Councils.
